IM.P.A.C.T.

IMmobilisation Pressure And Control Tactics covers many aspects of training for Police personnel.
The system encompasses techniques, strategies and tactics in respect of unarmed encounters, weapon retention, weapon disarm, baton (all types), handcuffing, and additional Law Enforcement equipment tactics.
The aspects of IM.P.A.C.T. are in the name - Immobilise the subject, use pressure, and control the subject . In respect of C.O.D.A.’s methods,  the “pressure” aspect is not always “pressure - point” related; the “control” aspect is not necessarily about wrist locks. “Immobilisation” can be to various levels and be brought about in various ways.
The definitions concerned within IM.P.A.C.T.  are substantially more diverse than on the surface.
S.T.A.B.

Strategy & Tactics Against  Blades
The ORIGINAL S.T.A.B. System, devised in 1993, is  now  only taught to Police/Security Personnel.
It is an  empty - hand, anti - edged weapon system.
The Progressive S.T.A.B. Programme is reserved for military personnel only.

C.O.D.A. will soon be making available S.T.A.B. EW Awareness courses available to members of the public, but these will not encompass the full system.

C.O.D.A. COMBATIVES (ADVANCED LEVEL)

The Advanced Level of C.O.D.A. Combatives is reserved for instruction of military personnel only.
The programmes draw influences from many sources of WW2 CQC, both British and North American. They are not taught as complete, individual systems, but rather a wide range of methods, techniques and tactics have been drawn together under the generic heading of C.O.D.A. Combatives (Advanced).

The vast majority of the training methods have been passed on to C.O.D.A. Instructors by original WW2 CQC Instructors, and 2nd / 3rd generation students with direct lineage to the original sources.
